“The Association of Scottish Police Superintendents welcomes the prompt settlement of the police officer pay claim through the Police Negotiating Board for Scotland (PNBS) which will extend over two years, giving the Service and officers, much-needed clarity for budget-setting. With the pay claim settled, ASPS will continue to contribute to the PNBS’s review and development of the regulations, with the shared objective of improving officer wellbeing, particularly in respect of reducing working hours as has been delivered in other public sector roles in recent years.”
